Member Benefits
Share experiences and information at our monthly meetings. Meetings generally include a program on a textile-related topic, a show-and-tell of members’ work, and a brief business meeting.

Learn new skills and explore special weaving topics at guild-sponsored workshops. We bring in both local and national instructors to teach techniques of interest to our members.

Participate with the guild: in the annual YMCA Arts and Crafts Fair in Blacksburg, VA; in other exhibits/shows as opportunities become available; and in lectures and demonstrations for schools and other organizations.
 
How to Join HWGNRV

Visitors and prospective members are welcome at our monthly meetings.

We meet from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month, September through May.

We offer two types of membership. The annual membership fee is only $20.00 for an individual membership or $30.00 for a family membership. We renew memberships once a year, in September.
